Apogee MQ-500 handheld full spectrum photosynthetically active radiometer adopts a split design of recorder and photosynthetically active radiation probe. The new generation of optical quantum probe has a better spectral response range, covering the spectral range of 389nm~692nm (± 5nm), with a range of up to 4000 μ mol/m2/s. Significantly improved its measurement accuracy for LED light sources, which can better meet the measurement needs of natural light and artificial light sources.
Thanks to the waterproof design of the probe, MQ-500 can be used for measuring photon flux density (PPFD) in natural environments such as outdoors, greenhouses, and artificial climate chambers, as well as underwater measurement environments such as aquariums and oceans.
